INSTRUCTIONS


Project 1 Exercise 1| Audio Editing

To do this, we need to synchronize the voice and sound effects of the “Everything Everywhere All at Once” scene in Premiere Pro.

Procedure :

Download the video and import it into Premiere Pro.

List each scene on a spreadsheet.

List the sound effects for each scene.

Record dialog and source sound effects online.

Audio tracks (3 dialog, 4 sound effects, 3 ambient sounds).

Synchronize audio with video.

Work Progress

Before we started recording and editing, we watched the original version without sound.


With Audio Breakdown Sheet, I have collected and downloaded all the audio files. And the I recorded three audion using my cell phone.

Project 1 Exercise 2| Sound Shaping

For this task, we need to record a 5-second voice clip and use AU to apply different audio effects
Progress

We should record our own voice for 5 seconds for Exercise 2 submission.

  1. Voice of phone call.
  2. Voice coming from inside of closet.
  3. Voice of toilet/bathroom.
  4. Underground cave.
  5. Alien/ Orc voice

Sound of a telephone conversation
Adjusted Pitch as per tutorial, Bring down bass, TRIBLE, raise Mid range between 500 hz to 2hz.



Underground Cave Version
Added echo effect to create the feeling of being in an underground cavern


Alien Version
Import audio files and apply a pitch shifter to lower the pitch. Make the voice sound harsh and like a very cute alien


Bathroom Version
