Week 1: We need to practice drawing the same character in various art styles. 

Week 2: We need to draw anatomical turnarounds for both male and female characters. 

Week 3: We need to design characters using black and white values (grayscale). 

Week 4: We need to design a character that effectively incorporates features extracted from reference materials.

Project Brief

In the context of this Character Design course, we are tasked with designing an original character set within the world of Genshin Impact. We are embarking on a 14-week stylized character design course that simulates the industrial game development pipeline. The curriculum spans from initial concepting and turnarounds to detailed design refinement and splash art, concluding with final portfolio packaging.




Project 1 - Personalification

In Project 1, I need to conceptualise the worldview and identity for the character I have designed. I wish to design a loli character around ten years old from Semeru, as I have a fondness for lolis. We also to design what our character looks like.

Project 2 - Character Design (Development)

In Project 2, we need to draw the character's dynamic poses, expressions, weapon designs, DLC outfits, and design breakdowns.




 

Project 3 - Character Design Execution

This week we need to complete the character concept art designs.



Project 4 - Portfolio

This week we need to integrate all of my works from task1 to task 3, and also design a banner.
